I combined a terminator (converted him into Black Legion) with the wings of St. Celestine. What happens when you take the ultimate symbol of Imperial sainthood... and combine it with the essence of a cold-blooded, chaos-worshipping traitor? you get a project so blasphemous that even the minis in my cabinet look at me in distress hahhaha (Ned Flanders-Gant, we’re all looking at you) I recently came across the lore of the fall of cadia and the 13th black crusade, where the Black Legion under abaddon the despoiler and St Celestine fought in a brutal and (literally) world ending duel. This incredibly cool piece of lore inspired me to combine an ultimate traitor with the literal manifestation of the emperors divine will. two polar opposites, alpha & omega. In the original lore, celestine is struck down by abaddon, but refuses to be defeated and drives her sword into his back, resulting in abaddon being further weakened and him being forced to flee the battlefield, ensuring the evacuation of cadia. My kitbash shows a slightly different version🌝 Was celestine overrun by a black legion terminator, before she could reach abaddon? did the terminator cut off her wings and claimed them as a trophy? who knows
